Mixed Berry Mini Trifles

Delightful layered mini trifles filled with fresh berries, cream cheese, and ladyfingers, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pound (454 grams) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce / 226 gram) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 (3-ounce / 85 gram) package ladyfingers or yellow/white cake, broken
  • 1 pint (551 ml) blueberries
  • 6 small glasses or jars for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by hulking and slicing them, then sprinkling with sugar and letting them macerate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Make the cream cheese mixture by blending the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth, then adding milk to reach desired consistency.
  3. Layer your trifles by adding ladyfingers, topping with cream cheese mixture, strawberries, and blueberries, repeating layers to fill the glasses.
  4. Chill the trifles in the fridge for at least an hour.
  5. Garnish just before serving with fresh berries or a sprinkle of crushed ladyfingers.

Notes

Feel free to substitute fruits or adjust sweetness levels based on your preference. These trifles can be prepared a day in advance.
