Shrimp Louie Salad

A vibrant and refreshing take on the classic Shrimp Louie Salad, perfect for any gathering or light meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Louie dressing (made of mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by rinsing under cold water and patting dry, or heating in a skillet if using raw.
  2. Chop the romaine lettuce, slice cherry tomatoes, dice avocado, and chop cucumber and red onion.
  3. Make the Louie dressing by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  4. Combine shrimp, veggies, and dressing in a large bowl, and mix gently.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Notes

Best served fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for a day or two. You can make the dressing and chop the veggies ahead of time.
