  • ½ Tbsp Confectioner’s Sugar
  • ⅛ tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and confectioner’s sugar, beating until smooth.
  2. Slice the Nectarines: Slice thinly, reserving half for topping.
  3. Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread cream cheese mixture on bread slices, layer with nectarines, and top with another slice.
  4. Prepare the Egg Mixture: Whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and black pepper in a shallow bowl.
  5. Soak the Sandwiches: Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture for 20-30 seconds on each side.
  6. Cook the French Toast: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with butter and cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve It Up: Top with reserved nectarines, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and drizzle with maple syrup if desired.

Notes
