  • 1 pound blue pasta spirals
  • 1 pound plain rotini pasta
  • 16 ounces mozzarella pearls
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup Italian dressing
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the red, blue, and plain rotini pasta, cooking according to package instructions until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the Dressing: In a large bowl, combine the Italian dressing, mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, mozzarella pearls, halved cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and chopped parsley. Pour the dressing over and gently toss.
  4. Chill the Salad: Cover and let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
  5. Serve It Up: Toss the salad and taste for seasoning before serving. Garnish as desired.
