  • 1 cup light flour alternative (almond flour or whole wheat pastry flour)
  • Reduced-fat dairy (skim milk, low-fat butter, or coconut oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet) for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix in a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese) with protein powder. Add light flour and mix until a doughy consistency forms.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance flavor.
  4. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, about ½ inch thick.
  5. Chop chocolate chips and sprinkle evenly over the dough, leaving edges clear.
  6. Fold the dough over the chocolate chips, then cut into triangles with a sharp knife.
  7. Shape each triangle by rolling from the wide end to the point, sealing the ends.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
