Pan-Fried Peaches

A delightful and easy recipe for pan-fried peaches that brings a burst of summer flavors to your kitchen.

  • 4 fresh peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep the peaches: Start by washing your peaches thoroughly. Slice them in half and remove the pits.
  2. Heat the skillet: Put a non-stick skillet over medium heat and let it get hot. Toss in the butter.
  3. Add the peaches: Place those peach halves, cut side down, in the skillet and let them cook for about 3-4 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Flip the peaches: Carefully flip them over using tongs, sprinkle with brown sugar and dust with cinnamon.
  5. Finish cooking: Let the peaches cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender, then drizzle with vanilla extract.
  6. Transfer the peaches to a plate, cut side up, and drizzle any leftover buttery caramel sauce over them.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat. You can also add crushed nuts or granola on top for added texture.
