Pumpkin Tiramisu Trifle

A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert featuring layers of pumpkin-spiced mascarpone cream and coffee-soaked ladyfingers, perfect for fall.

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spiced pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 12 ladyfingers
  • Cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

  1. Make the mascarpone mixture by combining mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, spiced pumpkin puree, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Prepare the coffee and let it cool completely. Add liqueur if desired.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the cooled coffee to coat.
  4. Layer the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of your dish and spread a layer of the pumpkin mascarpone cream over them. Repeat the layering process.
  5. Chill the assembled trifle in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Finish by dusting with cinnamon before serving, and add optional toppings.

Notes

Best served chilled; can be made a day ahead of time. Adjust sweetness to taste with sugar or natural sweeteners.
