One-Pan Beef & Noodles

A comforting and quick dish featuring ground beef and egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15)
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 tbsp flour
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large pan over medium heat, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Incorporate flour, stirring well to combine and cooking for a minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture begins to thicken slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the egg noodles and Worcestershire sauce, ensuring noodles are submerged. Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until noodles are al dente, stirring occasionally.
  6. Finish by stirring in sour cream, paprika, dried thyme, and butter until well combined.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
