Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Flavorful Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps that are easy to make and perfect for a quick dinner or an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon celery seed
  • Fresh pepper to taste
  • ½ cup thinly sliced celery
  • Blue cheese crumbles
  • Ranch dressing
  • 2 heads of lettuce (romaine or iceberg, rinsed and patted dry)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: If you’re using raw chicken breasts, start by poaching them in lightly salted water. Bring the water to a simmer, then add the chicken and cover for about 12-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  2. Shred the Chicken: Once your chicken is cooked and cooled slightly, shred it using two forks.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil, Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce, and celery seed, stirring to combine.
  4. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Add the shredded chicken to the pan and gently stir to coat the chicken in the sauce.
  5. Prepare the Lettuce: Separate the heads of lettuce into leaves, rinse, and pat them dry gently.
  6. Assemble the Wraps: Place the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each lettuce leaf, top with sliced celery, blue cheese crumbles, and drizzle with ranch dressing.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Present your wraps on a large platter, allowing guests to dig in!
