  • 2 apples, grated
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk (approximately)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the softened butter and mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Fold in the grated apples gently.
  6. Pour in enough milk to bring the dough together.
  7. Knead the dough on a floured surface just a few times, then pat into a rectangle and cut out biscuits.
  8. Place on the baking sheet, close but not touching.
  9. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool on a wire rack before serving warm.

Notes

These biscuits can be customized with nuts, cheese, or dried fruits for added flavor. For a sweet finish, a drizzle of maple glaze can be included.
