Caramel Apple Truffles

Delightful truffles combining caramel and apple flavors, reminiscent of autumn festivals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 12 oz white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workstation by clearing a space and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the base by combining vanilla wafer crumbs and cream cheese until it resembles dough.
  3. Add the apple butter and caramel sauce, folding carefully until well mixed.
  4. Shape the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
  7. Coat each truffle in melted white chocolate and return them to the parchment paper.
  8. Let the truffles set until the chocolate is hardened, about 30 minutes.

Notes

You can substitute white chocolate with dark or milk chocolate and add nuts for extra texture.
