Strawberry Pineapple Sorbet

A refreshing strawberry pineapple sorbet that’s perfect for warm days, made with fresh fruits for a burst of summertime flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (or alternative sweetener)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water (or coconut water for flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prep the fruits: Wash strawberries and remove greens. Chop pineapple into small blocks.
  2. Blend to perfection: In a blender, combine strawberries, pineapple, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
  3. Taste test: After blending, adjust sweetness as desired.
  4. Chill it out: Pour mixture into a container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
  5. Scoop and serve: Enjoy the sorbet once it’s firm, letting it sit at room temperature if needed.

Notes

For creaminess, consider adding coconut cream or a banana while blending. Stir the sorbet every couple of hours to prevent ice crystals.
