Sheet Pan Cuban Sandwiches

A hearty twist on the classic Cuban sandwich, perfect for family gatherings or easy weeknight dinners!

Ingredients

  • Deli Meat (Ham, Roast Pork, or Turkey)
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Tart Pickles
  • Mustard
  • Butter
  • Poppy Seeds
  • Sandwich Rolls or Ciabatta

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a large sheet pan by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the sandwich rolls in half lengthwise and lay them cut-side up on the sheet pan.
  4. Layer mustard on the bottom half of each roll, then add deli meat and Swiss cheese.
  5. Add pickles on top of the cheese.
  6. Put the top halves back on the sandwiches, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, sliced in half for easy enjoyment.

Notes

These sandwiches can be made in advance and reheated for quick meals. Perfect for meal prep!
