Creamy Seafood Lasagna

A hearty seafood twist on traditional lasagna that combines rich flavors of lobster, crab, and shrimp, enveloped in creamy layers of cheese and pasta.

  • 9 lasagna noodles (cooked until al dente)
  • 1 bunch of green onions (diced)
  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 lb raw shrimp (diced)
  • 4 tsp seafood seasoning
  • 4 cups Sargento Italian Cheese blend
  • 5 tbsp butter (salted)
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 2 tsp parsley flakes (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil your lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted water until al dente.
  3. Drain noodles and set aside, drizzling with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic.
  5. Stir in flour, whisking in heavy cream until thickened.
  6. Add seafood seasoning, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Fold in lobster meat, crab meat, and diced shrimp and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  8. Spread a thin layer of the mixture in a large baking dish, then layer noodles, seafood filling, and cheese.
  9. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles and seafood mixture topped with cheese.
  10. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
  11. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated, just add extra baking time. Allow to rest to prevent excess moisture.
