Brownie Chocolate Swirl Ice Cream

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brownie chunks
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Incorporate the cocoa powder, sifting to avoid lumps, and whisk until smooth.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes.
  4. Prep your brownies while the mix chills, chopping them into bite-sized chunks.
  5. Churn the chilled mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Swirl in brownie chunks, chocolate chips, and half of the hot fudge gently.
  7. Final freeze the mixture in a lidded container, layering remaining hot fudge on top for a final swirl. Freeze for at least 240 minutes.
  8. Scoop and enjoy! Let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
