Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Cups

Delightful dessert cups combining creamy cheesecake, chocolate, and fresh strawberries.

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate sandwich cookies (finely crushed)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • ½ cup melted semi-sweet chocolate
  • ¾ cup strawberry puree or strawberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix until all the crumbs are evenly coated.
  4. Press the cookie mixture into the bottoms of your dessert cups, creating an even layer.
  5. Bake the crusts in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, until slightly set.
  6. Cool them completely before adding the filling.
  7. Beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
  8. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  9. Whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  10. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and let it cool slightly, then gently fold it into the cheesecake filling until just combined.
  11. Spoon the cheesecake filling into each cup, layering it on top of your cookie crust.
  12. Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or overnight).
  13. Layer the strawberry puree or sauce on top of the cheesecake filling just before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream and garnish with fresh strawberries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
