Bird’s Milk Jello

A delightful and creamy dessert featuring layers of velvety creaminess and sweet raspberry flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin (1/4 oz or roughly 7 grams)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz tub sour cream
  • 8 oz tub Cool Whip (fully thawed)
  • 6 oz raspberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • Red gel food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup of the boiling water. Stir until it’s completely dissolved.
  2. Dissolve the jello: In a medium bowl, add the raspberry jello and pour in the remaining 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Mix in the gelatin: Combine your dissolved gelatin with the raspberry jello and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Creamy mixture: In another bowl, combine the milk, sugar, and sour cream. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  5. Fold in the Cool Whip: Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip into the creamy mixture.
  6. Combine everything: Slowly pour the raspberry jello mixture into the cream blend, folding it all together.
  7. Set the jello: Pour the combined mixture into a serving dish or individual cups.
  8. Chill out: Cover and refrigerate the jello for at least 240 minutes or until completely set.
  9. Serve: Once set, garnish with additional Cool Whip or fresh raspberries.
