Pink Lemonade Sorbet

Cool down this summer with a refreshing Pink Lemonade Sorbet that combines sweet and tangy flavors for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2¾ Cups water (divided)
  • 1½ Cups granulated sugar
  • ½ Cup pink lemonade powder mix
  • 1 Cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and the granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Once your simple syrup is ready, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Stir in the pink lemonade powder mix, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest until fully combined.
  3. Add the remaining ¾ cup of cold water to the mixture and stir well until combined.
  4. Pour your mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Transfer the churned sorbet to an airtight container and freeze it for at least 4-6 hours to harden.

Notes

For added flavor, consider infusing the simple syrup with fresh mint. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, freeze the mixture in a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes until smooth.
