Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl by mashing the banana and adding pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and sugars.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl: whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
  5. Add the chocolate chips, folding them into the batter.
  6. Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
