A quick and flavorful pasta skillet featuring sticky honey garlic sausage, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or your preference)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add Garlic: Once the sausage is browned, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Whisk the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine honey and soy sauce. Whisk until smooth, then pour over the sausage and garlic.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. If too thick, add reserved pasta water.
  6. Season to Taste: Add salt and pepper as needed, and stir in red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Final Touch: Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
