The Ultimate Red Velvet Brownies

Decadent red velvet brownies drizzled with white chocolate, perfect for sharing or savoring alone!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl, then let it cool slightly.
  4. Mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and red food coloring into the melted butter until smooth.
  5. Combine the dry mixture into the wet mixture, folding gently until just mixed.
  6. Add in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then drizzle melted white chocolate on top once cooled.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter to keep brownies fudgy.
