Honey Glazed Carrots & Green Beans

A delightful side dish of honey glazed carrots and green beans, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the carrots by peeling and slicing them.
  3. Toss the carrots and green beans with olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Sweeten the veggies with honey and lemon juice, then add cinnamon and nutmeg.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Roast on a baking sheet for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
