Ground Turkey Taco Skillet

A quick and delicious one-pot meal featuring ground turkey, colorful veggies, and vibrant taco flavors, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup corn (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking
  • Toppings (optional): avocado, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, or sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the ground turkey, breaking it up, for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Sauté the onions and bell peppers for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Season with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add the black beans and corn, stirring them in for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.
