Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and set them on your kitchen counter.
  2. Cut your steak into bite-sized pieces—about 1-inch chunks work perfectly.
  3. Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  5. Add your seasoned steak pieces in a single layer and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.
  7. Add 4 tablespoons of butter and heat over medium heat until melted.
  8. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  9. Mix in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring continuously to combine.
  10. Gradually stir in the shredded parmesan cheese until melted.
  11. Add the cooked tortellini and gently toss everything together in the creamy sauce.
  12. Return the cooked steak back into the skillet and fold it in with the tortellini.
  13. Taste the dish and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  14. Serve hot, garnished with cracked black pepper and parsley.
