Garlic Steak Bites and Potatoes

A hearty dish of tender steak bites mingling with golden, crispy baby potatoes and the irresistible aroma of garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (such as sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 cups baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients: Gather and wash all your ingredients. Chop the steak into bite-sized pieces, wash and halve the baby potatoes, and mince the garlic.
  2. Season the steak: In a medium bowl, combine the steak pieces, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Heat the pan: Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the steak bites: Carefully add the seasoned steak to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove the steak: Transfer it to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  6. Cook the potatoes: In the same skillet, lower the heat, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and toss in the halved baby potatoes. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Add the garlic: Once the potatoes are browned, lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Stir for about 1-2 minutes.
  8. Return the steak: Add the cooked steak back into the skillet with the potatoes and garlic, stirring for another minute.
  9. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top.
