Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Delightful and addictive cinnamon-sugar coated banana chips made using an air fryer for a crispy snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl until blended.
  3. Prep your air fryer by preheating it to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Coat the banana slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, lightly spray with cooking oil, and air fry for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Allow the chips to cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
  7. Store any leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

For added flair, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the cooled banana chips.
