Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

A comforting dish featuring creamy ranch dressing, crispy bacon, and tender chicken wrapped in hearty pasta, perfect for any occasion.

  • 8 ounces pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Save about half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Prepare the chicken by heating a large skillet over medium heat with a splash of olive oil. Season the diced chicken with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet. Sauté for 7-8 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Cook the bacon in the same skillet until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Combine the chicken back in the skillet with the cooked pasta and ranch dressing. Toss everything together, adding pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Final taste test for seasoning and toss in chopped parsley to serve.

Notes

For variations, try adding vegetables or using different types of dressing. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
