Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole

A hearty casserole filled with juicy ground beef, crispy French fries, and gooey cheese, embodying classic diner flavors.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Mix in the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Add the cream of mushroom soup and milk, stirring until creamy.
  5. Layer half of the frozen French fries in a greased baking dish, then the beef mixture, and half the cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and fries are crisp.
  7. Serve with optional toppings and enjoy!
