Baked Cajun Salmon with Avocado Lime Sauce

A flavorful dish combining bold Cajun spices with creamy avocado lime sauce, perfect for a delicious weeknight dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse your salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Mix the Cajun seasoning with olive oil in a small bowl until it forms a paste.
  5. Spread the seasoning paste generously over the top of the salmon fillets.
  6. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Mash the avocado in a mixing bowl, then add lime juice, Greek yogurt, and salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Top each salmon fillet with a generous spoonful of the avocado lime sauce after baking.
